Insurance

There are two types of insurance that will help pay for eye care services and eyewear, vision and medical.

Vision Plans

Vision plans are discount arrangements designed to help cover wellness examinations, and in some cases provide discounts on glasses and contact lenses. Well vision plans typically cover services to determine a patient’s refractive state (prescription) and basic eye health screenings.

Medical Insurance

Medical insurance can cover some, or all, of professional services concerning any medical eye condition (diabetes, macular degeneration, glaucoma, eye infections, eye injuries, etc.). A few select medical plans will cover one routine well-vision exam each year. Our team would be happy to help determine what benefits are included in your insurance coverage.

If you have both types of insurance, it may be necessary for us to bill some services to your vision plan and other services to your medical insurance. We will use coordination of benefits to do this properly and to minimize your out-of-pocket expense.

Here are some insurance providers that we accept. If you do not see your provider listed below, feel free to contact us to verify.
