Dr. Michels returned home to practice following graduation from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. After practicing in Sibley and Sheldon, IA for three years, he purchased Sheldon Vision Care in 2013. Dr. Michels takes great pride in caring for the community he considers home and the patients he considers friends. Dr. Michels enjoys the variety of providing vision care for the whole family.
Madelyn Driggs (Mullally), O.D. was born and raised in Le Mars, Iowa and now calls Sheldon home. Dr. Driggs graduated with honors in 2020 from Southern College of Optometry (SCO) after completing her undergraduate studies in biology at Iowa State University. Her clinical interests include dry eye disease, diabetic eye care, and macular degeneration management. Dr. Driggs loves her career, and her passion for providing top quality eye care is evident in the way she cares for her patients!
